Some questions you can ask:
Why was the local community not consulted? There are over 2000 residents in the Boundary Tenants and Residents Association area alone, none of them received a letter from the council informing them of this planning application
Why are councillors allowing a TALL building in a conservation area? This building breaks conservation area rules, why is it even being considered?
Why did a planning officer refer to it as “demure” at the April planning meeting? Why did councillors not challenge this description?
Why are they ignoring the strong objection from Hackney Council on design and conservation grounds?
Why hasn’t Tower Hamlets Council conservation officers similarly objected?
Make sure to be clear that you OBJECT to the planning application PA/20/00557, and add your NAME, ADDRESS and POSTCODE.
