Some questions you can ask:

• Why was the local community not consulted? There are over 2000 residents in the Boundary Tenants and Residents Association area alone, none of them received a  letter from the council informing them of this planning application

• Why are councillors allowing a TALL building in a conservation area? This building breaks conservation area rules, why is it even being considered?

• Why did a planning officer refer to it as “demure” at the April planning meeting? Why  did councillors not challenge this description?

• Why are they ignoring the strong objection from Hackney Council on design and conservation grounds?

• Why hasn’t Tower Hamlets Council conservation officers similarly objected?
